Ecological Intellegence

In his book "Ecological Intelligence,"

...Daniel Goleman argues that even organic cotton T-shirts aren't necessarily very eco-friendly, since they can still be shipped all around the world to be sewn together in sweatshop conditions before being chemically dyed in a polluting facility.

Of course, conventionally grown cotton T-shirts still fare much worse under eco-scrutiny, especially those grown and made in China.

Just how ecologically damaging those "all-natural" T-shirts are has been laid bare, thanks to a feature article in the latest issue of Miller-McCune magazine.
In "Can China Turn Cotton Green?"
Chris Wood takes a close look at a study conducted by the International Institute for Sustainable Development in Winnipeg, Canada, that drew from an international network of experts to look at the cotton T-shirt manufacturing process.

As you may have expected, environmental problems caused by the common cotton T-shirt range widely, from irrigation-based farming practices that strain water supplies and damage ecosystems, to overuse of chemical fertilizers, to water pollution from dye wastes:

"Only about 10 percent of dye wastes are recycled, and about a third of the rest flows directly to the environment.

In provinces like Xinjiang, this waste is a major contributor to industrial and municipal pollution so severe that nearly 1 in 4 of China's 1.3 billion people drink contaminated water every day."

Precisley...

And The Rainbow Imagary...

Dorothy is looking for a place where there is no trouble which is a place “over the rainbow.”
To escape pain, alters go over the rainbow.
(This is a.k.a. in Alice In Wonderland Programming as “going through the looking glass”)

Judy Garland, she was an MK slave...

and the first to sing the ''over the rainbow'' song. holding a mirror (looking glass).
another example how the symbolism fits the research.

Over the rainbow in Oz is for the Monarch slave to be in a trance, and into a certain area of the programming. To be fluctuating at both ends as an observer and not a participant or to go to the other extreme and become a participant.

The theme song of the movie goes,

“Somewhere over the Rainbow...there’s a land where the dreams that you dare to dream really come true.”

These lyrics are a method to hypnotically confuse the brain to perceive that the “over the Rainbow experience” (which is usually horrible abuse) is a “dream”.
The dissociative mind is only too happy to call the trauma a dream, which is lived as a reality for a moment, but is nevertheless recorded by the mind as a fantasy.
The term for this is cryptoamnesia, which means the process where the proper functioning of memory is hypnotically messed up.

The slave’s internal world becomes “reality” and the external real world becomes the Land of Oz which is perceived as make-believe.

Rainbow Color Coding

Reinforcing of primary MK-Ultra Prog’mg film Wizard of Oz – specifically theme song “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Harold Arlen & E.Y. Harburg.
Song and melody used as trance inducers during Prog’mg (torture) sessions, and as reinforcement thereafter…

Lyrics:

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There’s a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I’ll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can’t I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can’t I?

Lets Not Forget The Gay Use Of The Rainbow...

And Programmed Self Destruct Cults,
Like Heavens Gate...

Icke uses terms like Illuminati and Brotherhood to describe this elite, their true identity soon becomes apparent. “There is a global Jewish clique,” he writes, who “worked with non-Jews to create the First World War, the Russian Revolution, and the Second World War.
This . . . elite secured the Balfour Declaration and the principle of the Jewish state of Israel in Palestine.”

Icke says that, “given the genetic history of most Jewish people,” the Jews have no claim to Israel.
This is a common argument among the far right, some of whom believe that the Anglo-Saxons of northern Europe are the true descendants of the “lost tribes of Israel.”
Just in case readers have any doubts, Icke explains that the “Israeli government, its army, and its intelligence arm, Mossad, are neo-Nazi, terrorist organizations.”

Further revelations from Icke include the news that the same Jewish clique “financed Hitler to power in 1933,” and that an “Estonian Jew,” Nazi party ideologue Alfred Rosenberg, gave Hitler a copy of the Protocols, thereby sealing the fate of the Jews by encouraging Hitler to embark on the Holocaust.
Rosenberg was not, of course, Jewish but a viciously anti-Semitic Baltic German.
In the meantime bankers like Max Warburg had already left Nazi Germany.

Icke also condemns the Nuremberg trials.
“Nuremberg was an insult to natural justice,” he sputters.

He condemns the practice whereby free copies of Schindler’s List “are given to schools to indoctrinate children.” This is because Icke, like other neo-Nazis before him, has decided that the murder of six million Jews in the Holocaust is a myth.

He urges his readers to take Holocaust revisionism seriously and, without giving his name, describes and praises the French founding father of Holocaust revisionism,
Paul Rassinier—a one-time French Resistance fighter who was himself incarcerated in a concentration camp. “You cannot, if you are interested in truth, just dismiss his findings and condemn him as a Nazi apologist,” says Icke.
“But that is what happened to him and others too.”

Rassinier...

contends that the gas chambers are an invention of the “Zionist establishment.”
Why is it that the rest of us, including the Nazi perpetrators themselves, are so sure that the Holocaust did indeed happen?
“The Jews have been able to dupe the world by relying on their mythic powers and conspiratorial abilities,” says Rassinier.
“World Jewry has once again employed its inordinate powers to harness the world’s financial resources, media and political interests for their own purposes.”

Challenged about his endorsement of these Nazi apologists, Icke’s wife Linda dares to say things that her husband has not yet committed to print.
While the book’s discussion of the Holocaust merely asserts tha the Revisionist version should at least be heard, Mrs. Icke denigrates the fact of the Holocaust itself.
“We’ve had the figures come down from six million to two,” she claims, citing unnamed “Jewish” sources. “We’ve had a lifetime of one view and one story.
Maybe if all things were laid out on the table the truth might come out, whatever it is.”

Icke promises that “much, much more” is yet to be revealed about the Holocaust.
A flavor of what might be forthcoming is contained in a striking passage purporting to explain anti-Semitism.

Like many neo-Nazis, Icke goes out of his way to deny being anti-Semitic, claiming that he is merely criticizing a “manipulating Jewish clique” who regard the mass of Jews as “cattle to be used and abused as required” in their quest for world domination.

“The Jewish people (who, like the rest of us, are evolving consciousnesses that happen to be working in a Jewish genetics spacesuit at this point),
will never be free until they step out of the emotional and mental control of this tiny clique, which uses them in the most merciless ways to advance its own sick and diabolical ambitions.”

Following a common Nazi thread which goes back to Hitler, Icke blames the Jews themselves for anti-Semitism.

“Thought patterns in the collective Jewish mind have repeatedly created that physical reality of oppression, prejudice and racism which matches the pattern—the expectation—programmed into their collective psyche.

They expect it; they create it.”

Frankists planned the Holocaust in order to bribe yahweh via human sacrifice to give them Israel. Six million was the magic number required, so when the German hirelings weren't doing it fast enough they stepped in to accelerate the killing by outsourcing some of the carnage to Stalin. The joke is on both sides of the debate: yes they probably did kill their required 6,000,000, but no, not in German occupied territory. People have been looking in the wrong places for the other 4,000,000 bodies.

Yes, But There Were Hardly Any Survivors Of Stalins Purges...

And The Soviet Union Being A Bit Secretive An All...

You Don't Really Get To Hear Of It...

The Great Terror

In the original version of his book The Great Terror, Robert Conquest gave the following estimates of those arrested, executed, and incarcerated during the height of the Purge:

Arrests, 1937-1938 - about 7 million
Executed - about 1 million
Died in camps - about 2 million
In prison, late 1938 - about 1 million
In camps, late 1938 - about 8 million

Conquest concluded that "not more than 10 percent of those then in camp survived."
Updating his figures in the late 1980s based on recently-released archival sources, he increased the number of "arrests" to 8 million, but reduced the number in camps to "7 million, or even a little less."
This would give a total death toll for the main Purge period of just under ten million people.
About 98 percent of the dead (Gendercide Watch's calculation) were male.

Hagbard Celine Has A Human Race Get Of Your Knees T-Shirt...

Hagbard Celine said

David's Human Race- Get off Your Knees! The Lion Sleeps No More T-shirts are made,
In Haiti by a company called Gildan.

http://gildan.com/index.cfm

http://hpanwoforum.freeforums.org/what-next-icke-t1380-15.html

Sweatshop in Haiti.

Reconstructing Haiti: Time to break with foreign interference

Such talk of sweatshops might seem more than a little garish the morning after such a disaster, but this was hardly the first time Haiti had been targeted for such ‘sweatshop development’ and foreign players are obviously eager to turn the exponential increase in the bitterness of Haitian existence into profitable lemonade.

Haitian workers were “closely supervised and controlled by the government”, which kept “wage rates at very low levels” – “undoubtedly… the single most important factor influencing the location of assembly industries in Haiti”, according to economist Monique Garrity.
Even the World Bank admitted the “assembly industry is largely outside the Haitian economy” and made “no fiscal contribution.”

During this experiment in sweatshop development between the 1970s and 1980s, absolute poverty in Haiti is estimated to have increased 60 per cent – from 50 to 80 per cent of the population.

While sweatshop development had profited foreign corporations and further impoverished Haitians, those that had allied themselves with foreign investors to exploit Haitian labor rose to new heights.

In 1990, USAID described these “rapacious” new elites who’d “arisen to seize hold of the economy”:

These entrepreneurs have a 19th century approach to making money and have moved in to take advantage of the country’s massive and cheap labor pool.
They run sweatshops, pay starvation wages and oppose any effort to improve the lot of the average impoverished Haitian.

The maquiladora sector had been 50-70 per cent organized.
After the coup, the factories fired all the union-affiliated workers.
Now companies pay whatever they want.
It’s impossible to even talk about [improving] wages or working conditions.

…Following the September 1991 coup, peasant organizers were hunted down like animals by the military.

Within months of the coup, US corporations with business interests in Haiti asked for and received exemptions from the embargo designed to bring down the military junta controlling Haiti.
On 4 February 1992, President Bush I exempted American companies assembling goods in, or sourcing production in Haiti from the embargo.
The US Treasury Department even handed out these licenses to companies controlled by well-known coup organizers.

When the National Labor Committee asked one factory owner why he could not pay his workers enough to survive, he explained that, when the embargo was lifted, many US companies let it be known that they would continue contracting assembly work in Haiti only if their costs were lowered.

His factory was paying its Haitian workers 27 cents an hour, a starvation wage.

Other factories paid as little as nine.
“There was a union before the coup,” the same factory owner said, “but afterwards the repression was too great.
The military was hunting them.
They were afraid and fled Port-au-Prince. Now, we have no union.”

Not only had sweatshop development pushed Haiti’s poor majority further into poverty, but it also gave birth to vicious and rapacious new elite that oversaw the murder of thousands of members of Haiti’s pro-democracy movement in the years after the 1991 coup.

The Gildan Logo Has A Triangle With An Eye In It...!!!

Gildan saves on labor - the average pay is 2-3 dollars a day in Haiti.
Labor laws in pale in comparison to those in Canada.
At the moment, Gildan is really only a Canadian company in name only.

Haiti is a special case, in regards to Gildan and international trade. Gildan is supposed to be a "vertically integrated company" and I'm sure you're aware of that term.
Thing is, in Haiti, the vast majority of the employees are subcontracted through criminals like Andy Apaid.
They are not Gildan's employees.
In fact, Gildan really only has about 44 employees there who are there to "monitor" the subcontracted employees.
When Gildan says they will take care of their employees they are referring to the 44 individuals, not the thousands of sweatshop employees.

Gildan can help Haiti, I agree - they can help by opening GILDAN factories instead of subcontracting and pay their employees FAIR wages instead the starvation wages they have allowed their subcontracted employees to be paid in the past.
They can also offer some benefits and put themselves at the FOREFRONT of progress in Haiti instead of taking advantage of the poorest people in the western hemisphere.

Less profit? Fine.

They made a BILLION dollars last year but they can't pay people more than 5-10 dollars A DAY?

Gildan should reorganize their priorities and include their employees, subcontracted or not, at the top of the list. I agree with you too in that Gildan could help some Haitians more than any charitable donation, but they would have to stop participating in the exploitation of the Haitian people and move towards empowering them through jobs with fair wages and benefits.

( Correction...
In May the minimum wage was raised to just under 5.00 a day.
In a twelve hour day that equals about 43 cents per day.)

Gildan should be congratulated for giving Haitians far inadequate pay - not even enough to cover their very BASIC NEEDS?
Gildan made over ONE BILLION dollars profit selling clothing last year.
The Haitians that broke their backs in sub-par conditions MAKING those clothes, they made no profit.
Never mind profit - they didn't even make enough to feed and care for their families.

Gildan CAN easily afford to pay Haitians the basic wage they need to live - they CHOOSE not to because they want to keep more money for themselves.

Very big difference there, the people high-up in Gildan have MORE than enough money of their own.

A factory itself can be classed as a sweatshop so please do not forget it. cthulhu Look the industrial revolution was built on 'sweatshop' labour and hey isn't this a bit patronising in some ways, cos it is like saying that Haitians are only fit to recieve handouts only and not work!

Sweat Shops In Haiti...!!!

"Transnational corporations (TNCs) now roam the world to find the cheapest and most vulnerable workers."

They're mostly young women in poor countries like China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Haiti, and many others working up to 14 or more hours a day for sub-poverty wages under horrific conditions.

Because TNCs are unaccountable, a dehumanized global workforce is ruthlessly exploited, denied their civil liberties, a living wage, and the right to work in dignity in healthy safe environments.

Article 23 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states:

"(1) Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.

(2) Everyone, without any discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal work.

(3) Everyone who works has the right to just and favourable remuneration ensuring for himself and his family an existence worthy of human dignity, and supplemented, if necessary, by other means of social protection.

(4) Everyone has the right to form and to join trade unions for the protection of his interests."

Article 24 states:

"Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay.

http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/index.shtml

SWEATSHOPS...!!!

The term has been around since the 19th century.

Definitions vary but essentially refer to workplaces where employees work for poor pay, few or no benefits, in unsafe, unfavorable, harsh, and/or hazardous environments, are treated inhumanely by employers, and are prevented from organizing for redress.

The term itself refers to the technique of "sweating" the maximum profit from each worker, a practice that thrived in the late 19th century.

Webster calls them "A shop or factory in which workers are employed for long hours at low wages under unhealthy conditions."

According to the group Sweatshop Watch:

"A sweatshop is a workplace that violates the law and where workers are subject to:

-- extreme exploitation, including the absence of a living wage or long hours;

-- poor working conditions, such as health and safety hazards;

-- arbitrary discipline, such as verbal or physical abuse, or

-- fear and intimidation when they speak out, organize, or attempt to form a union."

Malandro said on the DIF...

Actually it's like this.

If more people decided they wanted their T-Shirts to be printed on fairtrade or organic cotton then that is what would be stocked by the printing businesses.
But they don't, they want the cheapest quote.
In this case it is up to David to decide what garment he wants his logo to be printed on, there are plenty of ethical/organic/fairtrade companies that supply T-Shirts to these businesses but it is up to the customer to decide, usually the decision comes down to the price.
I can't speak for David, but I can speak for the company that prints his T-Shirts, it's in North London.
It's called Fifth Column and it's been there since 1977 [It must be Dutch Nazi's working with the Illuminati through Gildan to propagate banal messages printed on T-Shirts to keep the masses stupified and driven by fashion].

No, in fact David is supporting the livelihoods of people like me, I work there and actually helped print those and can tell you that
a lot of designs are printed on fairtrade T-Shirts from a variety of different suppliers.

His logo could be done on any of them.

As I mentioned before, Gildan is stocked by companies like Fifth Column because the average Joe picks that as it's the cheapest (I think they are organic but I can't seem to view the Gildan website at the moment to confirm that).
If customers were not allowed this option there would be far less competition in the business and many more people would not necessarily be able to afford to buy stylized shirts on these materials.
Saying that I'm not blase about the conditions a lot of these people are working in, places like Haiti and Honduras etc.
and this is a major issue.
I am fortunate that I work under better conditions and attempting to better those less fortunate is something that drives decision making in our business.
If you are concerned about ethics, have a look at the company website, (it is currently being renovated but the old one is still available) http://www.fifthcolumn.co.uk/

We have a representative from the Soil Association coming to have a look at the way we conduct our business on Monday and as an employee, I too will be interested to see the outcome of that as to my knowledge only one other company in the UK has that stamp.
So it would be quite an achievement.

I hope this answers your questions and I could even talk to my own bosses to see if they will recommend it to David but I don't know any details of the ins and outs of the deal and it's not really my place to get involved in that, I print the shirts!

To Hagbard Celine, thanks for providing the information about Gildan, I wish I had known a week or two earlier as I just had some made up, saying 'Zionism - In Plain Sight' in the style of the olympic logo.
How ironic then, that it is printed on Gildan shirts.
I will definitely be more dilligent with my research of companies before using their products in future and will consider switching to a different company next time if these ones sell.
No doubt they now won't ) I will also present that article to my bosses so that they are aware of it too.

Anyway, I'm off to see what's going on in Central London now and will come back to this later.

So David Icke Choose To Have His T.Shirts Printed On Sweatshop Labour T Shirts, Over Fairtrade...!!!

Wasn't He A Spokesman For The Green Party Once...

He Should Have Known About Such Issues...

Seeing As He Wrote A Book About Them...!!!

Buying Fair Trade saves lives

Caroline Lucas, Euro-MP for Hampshire and the South-East of England, will explain how world trade rules are weighted against developing nations and can undermine local economies, driving people into poverty.

The meeting will hear that producers face additional pressures from big businesses, which can demand prices so low that even the costs of production are not covered.

Dr Lucas, who is a member of the European Parliament's international Trade Committee, said:

"Every time we buy something imported from the developing world, we face a choice:

whether to buy Fairtrade, or from another ethical scheme or co-operative which guarantees a fair price for the producers, or a profit-led corporate retailer, which doesn't.

I See When David Icke Post Articles About Sweatshops, On His Headlines...

It's Exposing The Dreamworld We Beleive To Be Real...

http://www.davidicke.com/articles/big-brother-mainmenu-34/7923-toy-story-with-a-cautionary-moral-for-sweat-shop-corporations

But When The Dreamworld We Beleive To Be Real Is Exposed As David Icke Doing It...

It Doesn't Even Make It To The Back Page...

Infact A Thread About It On His Forum Gets Deleted...!!!

'But recently a sumptuous smorgasbord of such flagrant hypocrisy has been laid before us that I feel a new category is in order: hypercrites, who combine the worst aspects of the hypocrite AND the phoney combined with some absolute lunatic conviction that NO ONE WILL NOTICE WHAT THEY'RE DOING.
Hiding in full sight, if you like; it's as though they believed those gimcrack ads about invisible capes in the back of the old-school comics.

Thus the high-flying poltroon Prince Charles lectures us about our carbon footprint while clocking up enough air miles to make a trolley-dolly dizzy.
The Pope rails against the moral vacuum at the heart of modernity while presiding over the biggest paedophile ring in recorded history. Head honchos at the Government quango the Commonwealth Development Corporation live it up in Michelin-starred restaurants, kick back in five-star hotels and take £330 taxi rides from Brussels to Paris, out of the £2.5bn pot of public money set aside for fighting poverty in the world's worst-off countries.

And now Bono, champion of the poor, has moved a good deal of the business of the "ethical" fashion house run by him and his wife, and set up to "encourage trade with Africa and celebrate the possibilities and people of the continent" from said Africa to China.
No doubt to celebrate the possibilities of the sweatshops, long hours and low pay that's SO a good look right now!'

It only goes to show how beyond hope Icke's Tards have become. Absolutely unthinking, never allowing a blip of reason or questioning or seeking the truth to enter into their minds. Blatantly exposed both promoting and profiting off of sweatshop labour and he's what? The bloody fucking Messiah as always, of course.

Wasters.

From David Ickes Headlines...

How desperate can you get? Obama releases campaign T-shirts and coffee mugs with 'Made in the USA' and his fake 'birth certificate'

Thursday, 19 May 2011 07:42

President Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign today started selling “Made in the USA” t-shirts featuring images of both President Obama and the long-form birth certificate he released copies of last month.

“Wear your support for this campaign with an official Made in the USA T-shirt,” his website advertises.
Donate $25 or more today and we'll send you your limited-edition shirt.

Coffee-mugs are also available.

“Remember ‘fight the smears’ from the 2008 campaign?” asked campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt.
“This is the mobile version of it.”

“Fight the Smears” was an Obama campaign website from 2008 that attempted to refute untruths about the campaign, such as the claim that then-Sen. Obama was a Muslim.

Part of the reason for the shirts, a campaign official told ABC News, is that despite the president’s release last month of his long-form birth certificate, conservative fact-challenged author Jerome Corsi’s book “Where's the Birth Certificate?: The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President” was published this week.

A Gallup poll released last week indicate that 65% of those polled say the president “definitely” or “probably” was born in the U.S. Thirteen percent of Americans say the president “definitely” or “probably” was born in another country.
Twenty percent say they don’t know enough to form an opinion. These numbers are trending towards the correct belief that the president was born in the U.S.

Selling products featuring the long-form birth certificate might be a risk for the campaign, given how seriously the president and many of his top aides have objected to the birther lie, some suggesting that it is in no small part a racist way to make the president seem “other.” Merchandise featuring the birth certificate could be seen as trivializing those concerns, or even crassly exploiting them to raise campaign cash.

The birther lie thrived despite the certificate of live-birth candidate Obama posted on his website in 2008, contemporaneous newspaper accounts in the Hawaiian newspapers the Advertiser and Star Bulletin or fact-checking by Politifact and Factcheck.org.

Last month President Obama released his long-form birth certificate, after then-potential Republican candidate Donald Trump began questioning yet again if President Obama was born in the United States and polls indicated an increasing number of Americans were starting to question where the president was born.

In April President Obama decried the “sideshows and carnival barkers” when finally releasing his long-form copy of his birth certificate. Some White House advisers told the president not to dignify the sideshows and carnival barkers, but White House aides say two weeks ago President Obama was dismayed when in the midst of his squaring off against House Republicans over budget priorities many in the media chose instead to focus on the false charges Trump leveled about the president’s birth certificate.

In April of 2011 when Mr. Obama appeased the “birther” critics by releasing the long-form birth certificate polls indicated that more and more Americans were believing the untruth.
Only 33% of Republicans said that the president was born in the U.S., with 45% sure he was born outside the U.S., and 22 percent unsure where he was born, a recent New York Times/CBS News poll from earlier this month reported.
Nineteen percent of Democrats said the president was born outside the U.S. or weren’t sure where he was born. Forty-eight percent of independents were either sure he was born outside the U.S. or weren’t clear either way.

“We do not have time for this kind of silliness,” President Obama said in late April when releasing his birth certificate hoping to put this issue today bed. “We’ve got better stuff to do.”
